totally solar! After test running the pool system with solar power for a year with out any problem , we decided the right thing to do was put the casita on Solar as well. It was completed just on 03/05/2011!
Please take a look at this website that I put together to show off our wonderful beachfront Casita. This casita is just a magical place.Located in the town of Cabrera, on the beautiful north coast of the Dominican Republic. This part of the island is a very non-touristy part of the island. To optimize this site I had to include four hundred words on my home page with words that are relevant to the casita My thoughts were that the pictures speak louder than words and they could stand by themselves, however that is not how Google works. Using words that reflect the casita and area, a full description of this magical place, such as "beachfront," "ocean front", "vacation rental", "honeymoon spot," romantic getaway". I would like to add "friendly" , ""north coast", "Dominican Republic", "Caribbean island", tropical island", "mountains that flow to the sea". You get the idea, this really is the place that dreams are made of. The beaches, the beautiful countryside, local culture, vistas, and the cliffs to the ocean all add to the magic. And did I mention the golf? Playa Grande Golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones about 12 years ago, is the just amazing. The golf course is located just five minutes from the casita. Go play some golf on this great course that has 12 holes on the ocean, and then head to Playa Grande beach for a swim or maybe some lunch prepared right there on the beach. You can charter a boat and go fishing, snorkeling, or just enjoy the views. There are many beaches sprinkled around for you to enjoy. They vary so much that you can do everything including wind surfing ,kite boarding surfing, A couple of other fun things to do; horseback riding, hiking.
The casita is just a relaxing beautiful place to stay and get away from everything. It has all that anyone could want starting with the infinity pool that stretches over 40 ft overlooking the ocean. And if you want a small private beach we have that too. Newly built stairs, about a hundred of them, lead to a small private beach below our cliffs. Half way down the stairs you can rest on the patio area. So please come and enjoy the Casita of Cabrera!
